Washington, D.C. POSTED AT 06:37 PM So I woke up all extra early to get ready and we left around 6:50. Got there exactly at 7 am, boarded the buses, and were on our way. On the way down I figured everyone was pissed at me and they all thought I was pissed at them so I sat in the back right infront of the little bus-potty with Taj. I sat and watched Series of Unfortunate Events on the way down and listened to my Rio. Sometime after we crossed the border into VA (yea. I freaked out like a dork lol. xP) Maggie asked me if I was mad at Eb and I was like,"Uhm, no?" So then after that everything was peachy-cool. So we unboarded at the Vietnam Memorial and we walked by. There were so many names, I didn't think it would be that big of a deal but it really was moving. I saw all the names and all the flowers being laid down at the bottom of the stone wall. Then Carmen told me how the lady that designed it (she's still really young, living today) made it so that when it rains, the names disappear from the marble, and while it's drying the names reappear while steam is given off by the stone. I thought that was pretty cool, and that all the names were in the exact order that the people passed away, from the very first to the very last. Then we walked to the Lincoln Memorial and I took a bunch of pictures there, and we took a bunch of group pictures on the steps. After that we went to some other place where there was a lot of waterfall type things in a little maze type place. Might have been the FDR Monument, I'm not sure.... We took a group picture of us tossing coins into the water. Then we took another picture of me acting like I was gonna fall in and Eb and Jessie were catching me. (Just to let you know, we took group pictures everywhere. Ev-er-y-where.) Reboarded the buses, drove to the Jefferson Monument and I took a lot of pictures there. That's my favorite monument, if anyone cares lol. Then we got back on the bus and drove to the Museum of Natural History and spent like an hour looking around there? I didn't even get to see all of it, I wanna go back really bad. We ate lunch at Subway there too. But anyway, there was this racecar simulator there that all 8 of us paid $5 each to ride. It was awesome, you got in this little red pod and there was a screen inside and you acted like you were racing against this other car, and the pod would move up and down and left to right like you were driving it. Aaaaaaah, we screamed so loud, we got out and people were like,"Jeeze. We could hear you all the way in the bathrooms." Hehe, it was fun. Then we walked like 3 blocks to the WWII Memorial, which took us like a half hour omg. The blocks in D.C. are HUUGE. xx; Anyway, we got there and there was a pillar that had the Philippines engraved in it, so I was sure to take a picture. ^^ Yay, FILIPINA PRIDE. *Strikes a pose.* Anyway, it was really pretty there too, we got pictures of us standing at the very top of one of the waterfall type things in some Spice Girl pose? I really liked it, I need a copy from Dakota. <3 After that we walked to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. Everyone stopped off and got matching black FBI sweatshirts to wear to school on Twin Day next Friday. I didn't get mine until right before we left for home because I didn't have enough money to get one. But Eb asked her dad to loan me $10 so I could get one which was REALLY sweet. <3333 Aaagh, I paid him back though. ^^ They also got black FBI beanies, which I didn't get because I was way broke after buying the sweatshirt lol. I'll find one.. somewhere. I look hawt in it; I must have one. :3And then. We went home. <3 Watched The Incredibles on the bus, and listened to my Rio again. Someone stupidly locked the bathroom door and Jalessa and Becky started throwing up, so they had to puke in the trash-can. Blah, needless to say I moved up to the front, lol. Funny Jokes From D.C. - "OMG, GUYS WE'RE IN PUBLIC!" - "Elizabeth? OMG ELIZABETH YOU NEED TO BREATHE!" - "HANDCHECK! Me: "... Alex, you're a dirty, dirty boy." - Me: "It smells like TUNA!" Bus: "LMFAO HAHAHAHA" Me: "I don't get it.. what's Tuna?" Bus: "It's... ....." Me: "... OMG EEEEEEEEEW!" I took tons of pictures with a disposable camera. Mom didn't trust me with the digital, she thought I'd drop it in the water or something at the Reflection Pool or Tidal Basin. Pfft. I don't know if they'll turn out though because I totally forgot about the flash, but they should be okay because most were taken outside. If not I can get the pictures from Maggie's photobucket but I'll put them up ASAP!! <3 Chris had to go to work. Tomorrow POSTED AT 06:25 PM I still have to get my nails done. And get shoes. And buy a much needed hair-straightener. And I have to do that TODAY. Tomorrow is pretty much all planned out. School, come home. Get my hair done, get ready and what not. Around.. 5-ish we should be going to the Rustic Tavern for dinner with the girls then meet the guys at the dance. I was.. supposed to get a ride from Josh, I think. But then he was like,"Well I'm gonna pick up Tony, Billy, and Ter too." And I was like,"Eh, that's alright I gotta ride from Eb thanks." I promised I'd dance with Kenny for the very last slow song. <3 How generous am I? omgiwishchriscouldcometotheformaltheniwouldbesohappy *Le sigh* Impossible. :/ I think there's an afterparty at Taylor's too. <3 That should be fun. If I can go. Currently Reading: Currently Listening: Mariah Carey's "We Belong Together" Mood: thankful |

Spring Formal '05 POSTED AT 02:49 PM So incase some of you didn't know, the night before the formal I got into a little row with my mom. Basically I told her to stop treating me like a 'fucking retard' because she told me like a dozen times not to get my nails done because my natural ones were better, after I had already told her alright. Whatever, so she threatened to shred up my dress and not let me go. ... Like that would have stopped me. ^_^; So I got home from school and Carmen called to tell me that she talked to my mom that morning and said that I could go. So we left around 3:30 to go to her house and get me ready. She did my hair and my makeup and I gave myself a quick french-pedicure. Then I got dressed and we left to meet the gang at the Rustic Tavern around 5:30 when we were supposed to meet at 5. Well, I'll just say that I got confused and we went to the Towne Tavern instead. I walked in, and a whole bunch of these old guys drinking beers and smoking cigarettes gave me a quick once over and laughed. I blushed and jetted outta there. I had to have Carmen go inside and ask where the Rustic Tavern was. xx; So I finally arrived at the right place around 6 and everyone was STILL waiting for their food. I didn't order anything but a bunch of people let me have their chicken-tenders rofl. Then after dinner the guys decided to WALK to the formal from the Rustic Tavern. I was all like,"Are you insane?" but it really wasn't that far. So they walked and Eb's parents picked us and Maggie up. Then we got dropped off at school and mingled with the beautiful people infront of Wilson. <3 I remember having to walk into the school, past all the staff and my heart was beating like a freaking.. I dunno, drum? I was so scared they wouldn't let me in beacuse of my halter but they let EVERYONE in. Hah, I was like,"YEA I KNEW YOU WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO KICK ME OUT." Just kidding. ^^; I was scared shitless though. And I forgot to add, everyone there looked absolutely fab. ^^ And I quote Jessica,"Even the ugliest guys looked cute." Hahaha. I would have done everyone there in a second. :D *coughifonlychriswastherecough* The minute I walked into the dance teachers/parents were pulling me into random groups for pictures, lol. I remember I got a picture with a lotta guys from 8W who I didn't even know, but it was all good. I had so much fun, I danced and danced and danced and took pictures and danced some more. And then I saved the last dance for Kenny, just like he asked. It was a perfect ending to an almost perfect evening, though I feel I let him down some, if some of you know what happened. But nevertheless, lastnight was so totally awesome/rad/wickid/hawt/whatever-you-wanna-call-it. <3 A night to remember, for sure <3 Currently Reading: Currently Listening: 40 Foot Echo "Brand New Day" Mood: high |

My love is like W.H.O.A. POSTED AT 01:52 PM I haven't updated in like forever. oo Jeezus. I guess it really is hard to keep up with school, softball, and a journal. Anyway. The first softball game of the season I had been dreading passed just fine, hah. I didn't even go. It was all the way in Lewisberry, which is like maybe... an hour away? And I couldn't get a ride so pfft. And then the game after that was a home game, against CV. Ironically, they forefited because they didn't have enough players. Now... does anyone remember how ridiculously huge their band was? Exactly. And then the game after that was in New Cumberland on Monday, which I DID go to. That was my first official game, I got a ride with Barry, Ariel, and Heather. We won, 14-2. I got my first hit ever and made it home hah. The team had like 4 redheads on it, pretty weird. Anyway, and then we had a game on Thursday against Red Land. We lost, 4-2. They were playing kinda nasty. Poor Heather smashed up like two of her fingers, Linds hurt her hand and some other stuff. We were playing really bad though too, so whatever. The only people who scored were me and uhm, Candy maybe? Nono, it was me and Katie. Wait... Agh, I don't remember. Anyway. In a way I'm almost sick of softball because it takes up all of my time, and I can hardly ever talk to Chris anymore. :\ *Whine* I miss him. Uhm, what else what else... The trip to the pool is on the 31st. There I hope to show off my new bikini, lol. It matches my basket, which by the way I DID finish and turn into Mrs. Bitner on time thank GOD, brown pink and white. Perhaps I will show pictures? =P If I feel brave, lol. There's only 13.5 more school days left, people. The year is coming to an end, who's excited? ... Thought so. :3 Currently Reading: Third Summer of the Sisterhood: Girls in Pants Currently Listening: Avril Lavigne "Fall to Pieces" (DON'T LAUGH) Mood: lonely |

Dynamic Duo POSTED AT 04:00 PM Anyway, the afternoon performance was alright. We played through "Contempo" and "The Phantom of the Opera." And then we played the Korean National Anthem for Vivienne. And then we ended the show with "Stars and Stripes Forever." Amy and I were sooo nervous as we raised our stands and stood to play. But we totally owned the performance. ^^ After we played and sat down everyone clapped and a few of my friends were yelling my name. (<33 Shandi, Nicole, etc etc.) Hehe, and.... My dad even came to see me right before he left for work. <3 He totally made my day, he even told me he was proud of me fopr the first time in a while. But sadly... I can't say the same thing for the evening concert. I was all hyped up and ready to go, I had even took my piccolo home for extra practicing. Eric left and dropped me off at the concert around 7:10 and I told him to tell Carmen and my mom to be there at 8. We got on stage, played like 4 pieces of music? Maybe 5, and then came Stars and Stripes. I scanned the crowd and I didn't see my mom or Carmen. And it was 8:10. So I stood to do my duet with Amy, and I figured it would be like a movie. I would just begin to play and they would walk in... How naive of me. .... They didn't show up. Yea, one of the most important nights of my life and they weren't there to see it. Of course I was disappointed. I was crushed. But hey. I still rock.. right? I miss Chris. I think I'll call him now.. <33> Currently Reading: Currently Listening: Natalie ft. My Mikey... POSTED AT 07:26 PM anyway.) Wednesday, May 25th, my little buddy Mikey got hit by a car. He's only in 6th grade and he's the sweetest little thing I've ever met. He's a drummer in the 6th grade band and he had to miss the concert day on Thursday. He's doing alright, I think. Atleast that was the last thing I heard from Amanda, his older sister. He has a fractured leg and he's really banged up on the face. He was hit by a drunk-driver, and the bastard didn't even bother to help him. He just sped off. I understand that I probably sound like a ranting mother, protesting against drunk driving. But really, people. I'm so glad that he's okay, but I was shocked when I heard the news on the bus Thursday morning. I miss him so much and all I can do is pray he heals quickly and gets back to school before the last day. <3 Don't drink and drive. <3 ![]() Mikey (left) and Me3> Currently Reading: Currently Listening: Natasha Bedingfield's "These Words" Mood: sympathetic |
