Hershey Park Day POSTED AT 01:59 PM THREE AND A HALF DAYS OF SCHOOL LEFT, BITCH. =D Anywhoo, the band/orchestra went to Hershey Park yesterday. It wasn't a really nice day out (like it is today, hmph) but it was cool anyway. The only thing I really wanted to do was get on Storm Runner, which was closed for like 3 hours because the break system failed or something. But it eventually re-opened and we stood in line for like 2 hours, hah. We did get on, and it was awesome. A two hour wait for a 30 second ride. Not worth it... Just kidding, it so was. xP We were 20 minutes late to our check-in at 3 so Mr. Roth tried to tell us to be 20 minutes early before departure at 8. Everyone thought he was kidding so we were like,"Screw that." So when we showed up exactly at 8 he was like,"You're late. I've got work for you to do." He tried to get us to clean the bus, rofl. Please, like Donna is gonna get down on her hands and knees and clean the floor of a dirty, stinky bus hauling a bunch of middleschool band geeks to a theme park? ... Naw. xP Currently Reading: Currently Listening: Coldplay's "Speed of Sound" Mood: sick Wanna piece?

Huzzah POSTED AT 01:23 PM Once upon a time there were three girls. Jessica, Maggie, and Donna. They started middleschool together in the fall of 2002. Soon, their little triangle of friendship began to grow. Enter Jessie, Maddie, Lindsay, and Elizabeth. Sixth grade was a blur, so many new people and classes and a new building. There were parties and sleepovers, fights and tears. But just in time for summer 2003, they overcame them all. Say goodbye to dearest Lindsay. Packed up and on her way to Massachusetts, the six were left brokenhearted and stuck in Carlisle. Say hello to their second year at Wilson. Enter Hannah, and welcome back Kirsten. Back on their feet again, the six girls left from Lindsay's departure grew to eight. Seventh grade was full of surprises; first boyfriends, first kisses, breakups, and heartaches. It went by so fast, and soon Donna had gotten into her first fist fight. She stood her ground and held her fists to her side. Atleast she had her friends to lean upon... Say goodbye to dearest Hannah. Packed up and on her way to Indiana, the seven were left brokenearted and stuck in Carlisle for their second summer in a row. Say hello to the girls' last year in middleschool. And so it came to be that the third year at Wilson began. The seven girls entered 8th grade with high expectations; the spring formal, the class trip to Washington D.C. Eighth grade was supposed to be a blast. And in many ways it was. Until the drama began. Until the rumors started flying. Until the seven were torn apart at the seams. What once was a friendship so strong not even a silly boy could tear them apart was degraded to a brittle bond of six girls who would only bicker and gossip about one another. A sad, sad story, my friends. Who knows how it will end, or how it will continue. But enter the six girls into their freshman year at Carlisle Highschool. Who knows what the future holds for them? Courtney's Luau POSTED AT 09:39 PM So the (almost) first week of Donna's summer has been uneventful so far. Saturday I went to Courtney's luau type party thing to celebrate the end of the year. A lot of people were there. And no, I will not list them all because I am lazy, lol. I had a lot of fun. We had like a water gun fight and threw water balloons at each other. And then we wrestled on Courtney's trampoline and I got owned. xP Maggie got thrown off the tramp rofl, that was rich. But thank God she's a tough cookie and gracefully rolled off. :3 And yea, I start work tomorrow. I'm getting paid like somewhere around $6 an hour, and I work five hours a day, five hours a week. (Did I mention this before? I have a bad memory. I don't feel like checking previous entries either, hah.) I know it doesn't sound like much, but I have to pay for my trip to Orlando somehow. *Asswiggle.* Yes, oh members of the CHS marching band, I WILL be going to Florida with you. :3 Like it or not. <3 I watched the Notebook for the first time. One-- okay, two words. TEAR. JERKER. Woooow, I sobbed so hard at the end of that movie. And some parts before the end of the movie. ^^; It was so sweet, I am so getting it when the money begins to roll in. Oh wait, there will be no money rolling in because I don't see a cent of it, it all goes towards my trip account. Damn it. Aah. I heard Chris's voice today over the phone for the first time in 5 days. *Obsessed.* TOMORROW I BECOME A WORKING WOMAN. Wearing horrible, ugly, mis-matching colored scrubs as a uniform. *Shudder.* They're so unfashionable..3 i> Currently Reading: Currently Listening: Fall Out Boys "Where Is Your Boy Tonight?" First Day 'o' Work! POSTED AT 05:04 PM OH EM GEE. EW. DISGUSTING. GAG. I had to clean bloody instruments that Dr. Curri used in surgery all freaking morning. It was horrible. I had to scrub them and then I had to rinse them and then I had to bag them and then I had to sanitize them in this little oven thing. And then I had to set up trays for them to use in ANOTHER surgery, just so I could clean them again like an hour later. @_@ I've never seen so much blood that didn't belong ot me in my life. o_o And I accidentally stabbed Carmen in the hand with an unsterilized needle and I almost flipped out. I was like,"OMG WHAT IF YOU GET AIDS?" And she looked at me and said,"Donna. Shut up and just stick it in the sterilizer." And then she dropped an entire tray of piping hot, newly sterilized instruments on herself and onto the floor so we had to do them all over again. >>; But other than that. Hah, my day was good. Except for those freaking scrubs. Me and Carmen matched, but they were hideous... *Shudder.* Currently Reading: Currently Listening: Shakira "La Tortura" Mood: tired |

Bubble Pop Electric POSTED AT 02:20 PM Gonna speed it down and slow it up in the back seat Bubble Pop Electric-- uh-oh in the backseat! I'm antsy, Bubble Pop Electric pansies I'm itchy, I wish you would come and scratch me Tonight I'm falling, won't you catch me? Swoop on by so you can snatch me and take me out Drive-in movie Drive in, move me Drive into me... Bubble Pop Electric, you've gotta get it Take it to the back seat, run it like a track meet Bubble Pop Electric, you've gotta get it Take it to the back seat, run it like a track meet." ... I only have one thing to say about this song. Kinky. xP I think this is the only song on her Love.Angel.Music.Baby album that doesn't have any Japanese words in it. oo; [rant*]I had a really bad dream lastnight. But I'll start at the beginning, hah. I was watching Full House (yes, on Nick@Nite, shut up) and it was the episode where DJ and Steve go Senior Prom and Steve wins Prom King and his hawt ex-girlfriend wins Prom Queen. So they have their little dance thing and Steve wants to find DJ so he can dance with her and he pulls away, but his ex kisses him and DJ sees. So they get in a little fight and whatnot. And she goes,"You said you loved me! How could you do this to me? I trusted you! Blah blah, tear." But they all lived happily ever after, lol, so no worries. But ANYWAY. I had a dream that I saw Chris hanging out with his ex-girlfriend somewhere, who ironically looked exactly like Steve's ex in the episode. oo; But anyway, he had his arm around her and I marched up to him and slapped his hand like the wimp I am and said,"Take your hands off her or I'll kill you!" (Er... Dramatic, I know. My dreams usually are. xP) And he just looked at me and laughed. And then I was all like,"I'll kick your ass, arrgh!" And he was like,"No you won't. Let's go, Mary-Beth." So he turned to leave and I was like,"Nooo, let's talk about this!" (This keeps getting worse, so if you've been reading up until now-- STOP.) So I had to pry him away from the girl by like sticking my foot in her side and pushing her away, lol. But anyway, then I was all like,"You said you loved me! How could you do this to me? I trusted you!!!" (De'ja vu?) And then he was like,"Well things change." And then-- oh. Oh my it get's worse. And then he goes,"I'll call you when I get bored of Mary-Beth again, a'ight?" o_O;;;;;;;;; And another weird thing is... he looked exactly like Brandon. >< Jessie's brother Brandon. *Shudder.* But dreams usually have meanings, don't they??[/rant] *Don't read if you don't like rants. =P I have to work tomorrow. :\ Blaaah. And this entry had no purpose, so sorry. >>; Currently Reading: Currently Listening: Gwen Stefani's "Bubble Pop Electric" Mood: worried |

Bad day, Bad day POSTED AT 05:59 PM I was only supposed to be filing papers fro Cathy, but she sent Drew and Gwen to get groceries and Dusty was left to scrub by himself. He was really far behind so Cathy got me to help him scrub so I agreed. When I got there, like, four or five trays were backed up and poor Dusty was falling really far behind. So I figured I'd help him out and remove all the sharp object, like the suturing needles and precision cut knives and whatnot, which was supposed to be done by the nurses for safety reasons. All workers are required to get these shots that protect them from diseases that can get passed through the blood incase such an event like today's should ever take place. We'll just say I don't have my shots. I was taking the blade off the knife when my hand slipped and I cut myself. I turned to Dusty and started freaking out. When Carmen came she scrubbed my hand with soap and peroxide and alcohol and I started to cry. (I'M SUCH A BABY.) I was like,"Omg omg I don't have my shots I'm gonna get a disease!" And she looked at me and was like,"Not necessarily. You'll be fine, don't worry. You big baby." Grrr. Stupid nurses. >>; Currently Reading: Currently Listening: Lumidee "Never Leave You" Mood: |
